From brand to business:
how we built Chester Vehicle Graphics
A case study in bringing branding, websites, social media, Google Ads and CRM together.

A case study in bringing branding, websites, social media, Google Ads and CRM together.
What happens after someone clicks your advert?
It is a question that can get overlooked when businesses invest in marketing. The campaign looks good. The website is live. The enquiries start arriving. But who picks them up, where are the details stored, and what happens if the customer is not ready to buy straight away?
When we developed Chester Vehicle Graphics — also known as CVG — we considered the whole journey. From the first impression to the quote and the follow-up, we brought the creative work and the systems behind it together.
As part of Elygra, Chester Vehicle Graphics gave us an opportunity to apply our digital marketing expertise to a business we know from the inside. We understand the service, the questions customers ask and the work involved in turning an enquiry into a completed job.
Here is how we approached it, and what that experience can bring to your business.
A focused brand with a clear purpose
Elygra offers a broad range of creative and marketing services. For vehicle graphics, we wanted a focused identity that made the offer easy to understand.
Chester Vehicle Graphics does exactly that. The name tells customers what the business does and where it is based, while its connection to Elygra provides the reassurance of an established team behind it.
We developed the brand and messaging around the needs of business owners: looking professional, getting noticed and making their vehicles work harder for their business.
That gave the website, advertising and social content a shared direction. Each could speak to the same audience with a recognisable voice and a clear reason to enquire.
A website built around the customer's decision
The website needed to help a busy business owner understand the options and take the next step.
We organised the offer around practical questions: what type of vehicle do you have, how much coverage do you want, and what information do we need to quote?
The enquiry journey combines examples, graphics options, pricing guidance and an explanation of the process. Customers can understand what happens between their initial enquiry, design approval and installation, then contact the team through a quote form or WhatsApp.
We also developed landing pages for specific audiences and services, including trade businesses and fleet enquiries. This creates room for more relevant messaging than a single general page can provide.
The principle is straightforward: make the service clear, answer the questions that matter and make the next step easy.
Social media that gives people a reason to look closer
Vehicle graphics is a visual service, making social media a natural part of the campaign.
Our social media work brought together campaign creative, service messaging and opportunities to start a conversation. The focus was on showing business owners why their vehicle branding matters and helping them recognise an option that suits their business.
Different audiences have different priorities. A sole trader may want clear lettering and contact details. A growing business may need consistent branding across several vehicles. The messaging needs to reflect those differences.
We connected social activity with the wider enquiry journey, including Facebook and Instagram messaging and WhatsApp contact. Someone who discovers the brand on social media needs a clear route to the team when they want to know more.
Google Ads connected to a relevant next step
Social media can introduce the business to people before they start looking. Google Ads can reach people who are already searching for a service.
For Chester Vehicle Graphics, we developed advertising and landing-page activity around the vehicle graphics offer. The aim was to connect the customer's search with relevant information and a clear way to enquire.
That connection matters. If an advert promises a particular service, the page it leads to should explain that service, answer likely questions and make it easy to request a quote.
Our approach brings campaign messaging, page design and enquiry capture together. It also makes the next stage of the journey part of the planning: what information reaches the team, and how will they act on it?
A CRM that gives enquiries somewhere to go
Generating interest is one part of the job. Managing it requires a process.
We built the Chester Vehicle Graphics CRM using GoHighLevel, bringing customer details and opportunities into an organised sales pipeline.
The pipeline tracks enquiries through practical stages, including new leads, contacted customers, quote preparation, quotes sent and follow-up. This gives the team a shared view of where an opportunity stands and what needs to happen next.
For example, a customer may request information while comparing suppliers, then need time before making a decision. Recording the enquiry and its progress gives the team a way to return to that conversation with context.
The CRM was designed around the way the business handles work, so it supports the team throughout the sales process.
Automation to support the conversation
We developed automation and enquiry-handling tools alongside the CRM, including website chat, messaging support and an AI voice assistant.
These tools help collect information and support the initial conversation when someone contacts the business. Follow-up workflows and email activity provide further ways to keep in touch as an enquiry progresses.
The purpose is to give the team useful context and help customers take the next step. Staff can then apply the judgement, advice and design expertise that a vehicle graphics project needs.
Automation works best when it supports a considered customer experience: relevant information, sensible timing and a clear route to a person.
What the project brought together
Chester Vehicle Graphics is an example of the breadth of work needed behind a focused customer offer:
- A recognisable brand and clear service messaging.
- A website and landing pages that support customer decisions.
- Social media campaigns and Google Ads to attract relevant interest.
- Forms and messaging routes that capture enquiries.
- A CRM pipeline that helps the team manage opportunities.
- Automation and follow-up that support ongoing conversations.
These elements were developed as parts of the same customer journey. That is the central lesson of the project: every stage needs to support the one that follows it.

How that experience can help your business
Because Chester Vehicle Graphics is part of our own business, we understand the practical questions behind a marketing brief. Who responds to the enquiry? What does the team need to prepare a quote? How do you keep track when several conversations are happening at once?
We bring that perspective to our work with other businesses, alongside 25 years of Elygra's creative experience.
Your starting point might be a website that needs to explain your services more clearly. You might need campaigns that reach a more relevant audience, or a better process for managing the enquiries you already receive.
We can help with brand development, web design, social media, Google Ads, CRM and automation, choosing the combination that fits your business, your team and your goals.
The work begins with understanding how your customers find you, what helps them decide and what your team needs to move an enquiry forward.
